October Visa Bulletin 2012 - EB-2 Advances in Some Categories

The Department of State has released the October Visa Bulletin . EB-2 numbers for Mexico, the Philippines and the "all others" category advance by three years but are not quite current, while EB-2 China and India remain unavailable. As usual, the EB-3 category edges along.

  • All still current

EB-2

  • All others — Advances three years to January 1, 2012
  • China — Presently unavailable, with cutoff date set at July 15, 2007
  • India — Presently unavailable, with cutoff date set at September 1, 2004
  • Mexico — Advances three years to January 1, 2012
  • Philippines — Advances three years to January 1, 2012

EB-3

  • All others — Advances three weeks to October 22, 2006
  • China — Advances seven weeks to February 8, 2006
  • India — Advances one week to October 15, 2002
  • Mexico — Advances three weeks to October 22, 2006
  • Philippines — Holds steady at August 1, 2006
