July DOS Visa Bulletin Shows Four-Month Jump in EB-3 for Chinese and Worldwide Nationals

The Department of State’s July Visa Bulletin, released today, gives some welcome forward movement for the EB-3 category, although EB-3 Indian nationals remain at a standstill. The DOS' predictions for the remainder of the fiscal year ending September 30 shine some rays of hope for EB-2 Indian nationals, as they may benefit from some unused EB-2 visa numbers. The DOS cautions that this likely will be followed by cutoffs again this fall, when the government's new fiscal year begins. EB-2 Chinese nationals might see forward movement of two months this summer, according to the DOS. Finally, the DOS cautions that further advancement in the EB-3 category is not likely.
