USCIS Has Completed Random Lottery and Reached Fiscal Year Cap

The USCIS announced on April 7 that it has concluded the random lottery selection process for all Fiscal Year 2017 H-1B cases. This includes the 65,000 regular cap category as well as the 20,000 U.S. masters degree carve out.
Employers lucky enough to be lottery winners are starting to see receipt notices. We expect the notification process to continue over the next several weeks.
