Visa Bulletin September 2016

August 11, 2016

As expected, the September Visa Bulletin announced few changes from last month in the employment based categories.  The employment based 3rd preference category did advance for India, Mexico and the Philippines.

The USCIS has been accepting for filing only the cases with priority dates listed in the Application Final Action Dates (not the Dates for Filing). Applicants should check the USCIS website in the next few days to confirm, though we do not anticipate a change in their practice.
