Kirsten Schlenger to Speak at AILA National Conference in San Francisco

Kirsten Schlenger will be speaking on a panel at the annual conference of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), to be held in San Francisco June 13 to 16, 2018. Founded in 1946, AILA is the national association of more than 15,000 attorneys and law professors who practice and teach immigration law.
Ms. Schlenger’s panel will discuss “DOL and USCIS Degree Requirements: Issues and Case Studies,” focusing on
- The difference between USCIS’ degree equivalency regulations and DOL’s SVP system
- How degree requirements are evaluated at the USCIS and DOL
- Timing requirements between USCIS and DOL when reviewing the beneficiary’s qualifications
- Current RFE trends
