Soon, employers will hear whether their H-1B petitions have been selected in this year’s lottery. Not all will be. If you miss out on the H-1B lottery this year, does that mean you cannot hire foreign national employees for the rest of the year?
Luckily, employers have other choices when it comes to hiring non-immigrant workers in the U.S.
In this webinar, we will provide an overview of several employment-based nonimmigrant visa categories, including E-3, TN, O-1, L-1 and J-1. We will discuss:
- basic requirements of each nonimmigrant visa
- timing
- spouse work authorization (what is happening to the H-4 EAD?)
- government adjudication trends.
