Extended to March 31, 2021: Presidential Proclamation Suspending Issuance of H-1B, Other Nonimmigrant and Immigrant Visas at Consulates

January 4, 2021

President Trump issued a Proclamation which extends the validity of previous proclamations suspending the entry of certain H-1Bs, H-2Bs, J-1s and L-1s and the issuance of immigrant visas at U.S. Consulates. These proclamations were previously set to expire on December 31, 2020 but have now been extended to March 31, 2021.
