Partner Tiffany Hill Speaking at AILA Virtual Midwinter Conference on Remote Worksites

Weaver Schlenger partner Tiffany Hill is speaking at the 2021 Virtual Midwinter Conference of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) on March 2.  Ms. Hill and her co-panelists will discuss “Challenging Worksite Issues for NIVs, PERMs, and IVs in an Era of Remote Work” including the definition of worksite; how to manage PERM, L-1 and E cases when the company offices are closed or there is no longer a physical office; which worksite changes trigger a retest of the labor market and filing a new PERM, what enforcement is likely in 2021, and what impact does working outside the US have on nonimmigrant visa status and applications for permanent residence.
